1965 Corvette Convertible
1965 Corvette Convertible – Build date September 1964. 5K miles since frame-off restoration in 2005.
Nassau Blue with Bright Blue Interior and white top.
Originally 327/350 HP (high RPM tach). This numbers matching short block is included with car.
Currently running 355 Chevy. Balanced/blueprinted with Dart aluminum heads. Estimated 450HP. Runs extremely strong – very fast.
Hooker headers, Holley 750 double pumper, Edlebrock intake.
Muncie 4 speed – 5K miles since rebuild, along with new clutch.
3:55 rear differential rebuilt with new gears
New BeCool radiator.
At restoration refurbished or replaced fuel/brake lines, u-joints, brakes (first year disc), trailing arms, body mount cushions, coil springs, shocks (Bilstein), leaf spring, repro true knock-off wheels, redline tires, etc.
Frame was absolutely rust free. Sandblasted and powder coated along with most large components such as fan shroud, a-arms, etc.
Horns (correct numbers) professionally refurbished along with wiper motor.
Re-chromed bumpers, stripped/repainted entire underneath of body tub.
No A/C, manual brakes & steering, roll-up windows.
Carpet slightly faded in areas, top has two small tears.
Owned car since 2005. Previous owner (friend) owned for 29 years before me(GCC Customer). He (P-O) purchased from doctor in Lake Jackson in 1976.
